Automatic Flare DispenserAutomatically releases a flare when an incoming heat-seeking missile is detected, in order to deflect the missile. If you have not been awarded the flare dispenser, or the incoming heat-seeking missile detector, or if either are damaged, then this equipment will not function. Once awarded, the automatic dispenser can be turned on and off using the auto flare dispenser on/off switch on the weapon panel of the console. This item can become damaged if the Harrier is hit, but may be repaired by using the 'Console Repair' skill. This award may be won in mission Run For Cover. |
