Automatic Ground AvoidanceThe automatic ground avoidance system attempts to prevent your Harrier from crashing into the ground. It will force the Harrier to pull up to help you avoid hills and can prevent you from executing downward turns and VIFFs if you are flying too low. Once awarded, the automatic ground avoidance system can be turned on and off using the ground avoidance on/off switch on the dial panel of the console. This item can become damaged if the Harrier is hit, but may be repaired by using the 'Console Repair' skill. This award may be won in mission Rescue.
