Bomb - Laser-Guided
This bomb has controllable fins and can guide itself towards a
target that has been illuminated with a laser. Targets may be
illuminated by clandestine ground forces or by other friendly
aircraft.
Some targets are illuminated in some missions, but not all. If
there are no illuminated targets the bomb can still be operated
without a target lock in the same way
as the standard bomb.
Select the weapon on the primary or secondary weapon display of
the weapon panel. Bombs can be
locked onto illuminated targets by
using the primary or secondary targeting arrays of the weapon panel. Illuminated targets are
depicted on the 'Target HUD'
with red arrows. Press 'Fire' or 'Fire2'
to drop a bomb.
Use the 'Targeting
Concentration' skill to enhance targeting.
This weapon can be won in mission Tank
Attack.
