Missile - Wire-Guided Air-To-Air
This is an air-to-air missile which the Harrier pilot guides by
wire. It has the advantages over other guided missiles that any
aircraft type may be targeted, and the target aircraft has no
defence against it. It has the disadvantage that you must maintain
the weapon lock until the missile finds
its target.
Select the weapon on the primary or secondary weapon display of
the weapon panel. Missiles can be
locked on to targets by using the
primary or secondary targeting array. When the 'SHOOT' LED lights
press 'Fire' or 'Fire2' . Keep the
'SHOOT' LED lit until the missile finds its target.
Use the 'Targeting
Concentration' skill to enhance targeting.
This missile is not won in any missions. It is freely available
to all pilots.
