The Radar Panel
The radar panel is the right-most section of the console. It
houses the radar and its controls. The
radar displays a top-down map of the terrain and locations of
nearby objects, both allied and enemy. Some of the controls also
affect the Target HUD.
Circular blips represent air forces, squares ground forces, and
triangles weapons.
Allied forces are displayed in light grey. Enemy forces are
displayed in green (black in the black and white colour scheme)
when they are directly on the flight
path (and therefore easier targets) fading to red (mid-grey in
the black and white colour scheme) for those far from the flight
path
The colour of the flight path arrows depicts the occupation of
the terrain. Red is for enemy occupation, green for allied, and
grey for civilian.
